Email Signature
Email is a critical brand touchpoint and is a great opportunity to share information and support our authentic identity.
Remember that an email signature is a reflection of your institution and is a modern version of stationery.
A sample email signature is below. You can copy and paste it into your email signature setup to simplify formatting.
Century Gothic and Georgia are the approved fonts for email signatures. Text should be no larger than 12 pt and no smaller than 8 pt.
Include your name, title, department and direct phone number in your email signature.
You may also include:
- Address
- Cell Phone Number
- Web url or professional social media link and college logo
- College-wide milestone logos or campaigns that all employees can use
Do not include the following:
- Colored backgrounds
- Flashing or animated images
- Images or emojis
- Taglines
- Personal quotes or messages of affiliation
- Environmental statements
- Pronouns
- Alternative fonts or colors
As with other digital communications, email body and signature contents should meet web accessibility standards.
