About the KCTCS Foundation

Our Misson

The KCTCS Foundation, an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization recognized as a charitable partner of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System, inspires philanthropic investment that advances student success, strengthens Kentucky’s workforce, and fuels innovation across our 16 colleges.

We will accomplish this vision by prioritizing:

Student Success- meeting students where they are by removing barriers to college access and success.
Workforce Development- supporting students’ career transitions and connecting employers with highly skilled graduates.
Innovation- developing resources and partnerships that allow KCTCS to respond to changing workforce and community needs.

Advance the vision, mission, goals, and objectives of KCTCS.
Start, lead and coordinate the private-sector development programs and activities of KCTCS.
Raise private funds for system-wide initiatives and needs.
Generate support from state, regional, and national corporations and foundations.
Provide guidance on managing and investing of private funds.
Act as a cooperative and supportive resource for college foundations.
Be a friend-raiser and advocate for the System.
Counsel and advise the KCTCS President.
Unlocks the potential of Kentuckians and adds value to communities.
