Financial Aid Considerations

Your grades affect not only your high school and college GPA, but also your financial aid and scholarship opportunities after high school.

To receive financial aid in college, you will need to complete the FAFSA and maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) according to the following standards, which are mandated by the federal government:

  • Pass at least 67% of the credit hours you attempt
  • Maintain a 2.0 GPA or higher
  • Do not attempt more than 150% of the credit hours required for your program

If you don’t meet these standards, you may not be able to get federal financial aid.

KEES regulations require you to be on track to graduate. Maintaining a 3.0 cumulative GPA is required for full KEES award.
