HealthForce Kentucky Hosts Free Ambient AI Preview Day

HealthForce Kentucky (HFK) will host a free Ambient AI Preview Day on Aug. 26 at its Training Hub and Innovation Center in Owensboro, giving healthcare leaders and educators hands-on experience with artificial intelligence (AI) tools designed to support clinical documentation, workforce retention and patient care.

Seating is limited to 50 participants for the preview day. The three-day conference cohort is limited to 40 participants, with capacity expanding to 60 attendees on Sept. 25, when healthcare leaders will join for a dedicated AI Leadership Day conference track.

Preview Day attendees will receive a $1,000 registration discount for HFK’s three-day Ambient AI National Healthcare Training Conference, scheduled for Sept. 23–25. Preview Day attendees who opt for the Sept. 25 one-day AI Leadership Day may apply a $400 discount to the registration fee. 

"This Ambient AI Preview Day is designed to bring together leaders who are shaping the future of healthcare and apply decision-making to real-case scenarios that vary in complexity," said Bruce Williams, president and chief executive officer of HFK. “The aim is to support workforce development and leaders in their quest to hire and retain employees, instill patient confidence in the security of this technology and ultimately improve patient outcomes.”

HFK is a collaborative partnership among five Kentucky Community and Technical College System institutions including Elizabethtown Community and Technical College, Henderson Community College, Hopkinsville Community College, Madisonville Community College, Owensboro Community and Technical College, as well as Brescia University, Kentucky Wesleyan University, Green River Educational Cooperative, Western Kentucky University, and University of Louisville who work together to provide Kentuckians perusing healthcare certification, clinical degrees, and training to assist with recertification in health and allied health fields the workforce development they need to be successful.

Preview day participants will gain exclusive access to the 35,000-square-foot, multi-million dollar Innovation Simulation Center and use AI tools on a working simulation floor where they will glimpse how medical scribe AI is transforming clinician recruitment and retention, patient care and operational decision making. 

This event will strengthen healthcare educators, clinicians, executives and administrator’s knowledge of practical skills they can immediately apply to the Ambient AI medical transcription platforms used in their workplaces.
