KCTCS and Alice Lloyd College officials to announce agreement to bolster education, workforce development

Officials from Alice Lloyd College and the Kentucky Community and Technical College System will announce a new transfer partnership during a signing ceremony at 1 p.m. EDT, May 31 in Campbell Arts Center, Alice Lloyd College, 100 Purpose Road, Pippa Passes.

The event will provide an opportunity to hear from President Jim Stepp of Alice Lloyd College and KCTCS Acting Provost and Vice President Reneau Waggoner about the full scope and benefits of the transfer agreement for students at KCTCS colleges who plan to transfer to Alice Lloyd College.

Key highlights of the collaboration include:

  • Maximized credit hours by establishing transfer pathways for students to begin at a KCTCS college and transfer seamlessly into desired majors.
  • Increased affordability and quicker time to degree as result of transfer pathways.
  • Expanded educational access and preparation for the workforce and career success.
  • Personalized and comprehensive transfer advising and student support services.
