KCTCS heading in the right direction

Like me, you’ve probably seen polls asking if the country’s heading in the right direction. It’s a good question and one I ask myself about KCTCS on a regular basis. I believe it’s important to take stock of where we are and where we’re going. For me, the answer is YES, the system is heading in the right direction. That doesn’t mean we’ve completed the journey, but I believe we achieved a great deal in 2022 and that next year will be even better.

The Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce recently shared its 10 Rules of Moving from Youth Dependency to Adult Economic Independence and it made me think about how we help Kentuckians do that. Everything we do is focused on helping people achieve economic independence so they and their families can have better lives.
