What is Unmanned Systems Technology?
The Unmanned Systems Technology program is specifically designed to address the needs of students who wish to pursue opportunities and careers in the emerging unmanned robotics field. Students are prepared for entry and advancement within the Unmanned Systems Technology workforce (aerial, land, and water vehicles/robotics) field.
What are my career choices?
According to a study by the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International, more than 100,000 unmanned aerial systems jobs are projected by 2025. Unmanned Systems Technology has applications in a variety of industries with careers in areas such as Commercial Drone Pilot, First Responders, Search and Rescue, Construction, Telecommunication Inspection Services, Filmmaking, Energy Inspection Services, Surveying/Mapping, Real Estate and many other identified applications.
