What Do Respiratory Care Careers Do?
The program prepares graduates to take an active role in the maintenance and/or restoration of cardiopulmonary homeostasis.
Classroom instruction in technical respiratory and general education courses is supplemented with learning experiences in the campus laboratory and in area hospitals. Students are responsible for transportation to clinical sites.
What are my career options?
Although hospitals employ the majority of respiratory therapists, other employers include home care providers, medical clinics, nursing homes and industry.
