What is Dental Hygiene?
A dental hygienist provides cleanings, exams and x-rays under the supervision of a dentist. A separate admission process must be completed in order to be considered for the Dental Assisting/Dental Hygiene Program.
What are my career choices?
Dental hygienists work in offices of dentists. A very small number work for employment services, offices of physicians, or other industries.
