What is an Associate in Arts Degree?
Are you looking to save money while earning college credit that will apply to a bachelor's degree? Our Associate in Arts and Associate in Science degrees are designed for transfer to bachelor's degree programs at four-year colleges and universities. These degrees have substantial general education components and are designed to accommodate transfer. We are accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). SACS accreditation means we meet standards of excellence widely accepted by colleges and universities across the nation.
How long will it take to complete the program?
Two-years for a full-time student. It is not unusual for students to study part-time and take more than two years to complete the degree.
How Much can I make, and Where can I take Classes?
The great thing about KCTCS is that we have colleges and campuses around the state. Choose a college, and you'll find more information on the program and the salaries for careers in the area.
