Morehead State University

The MSU Office of Transition Services is designed to serve as advocates for students transferring from KCTCS schools. All KCTCS transfer students may apply free on Morehead's application page. KCTCS students can also request an unofficial program evaluation of their previous, current, and future KCTCS coursework to provide them with a customized path to their MSU degree. We also have MSU Regional Transfer Advisors located at some KCTCS schools to provide direct, convenient service to students as they plan their transfer.

Students are invited to register for Adult/Transfer Visit Day to learn more about transfer opportunities, admission, financial aid/scholarships, and course equivalencies. These visits are offered at least once per month.

KCTCS students are also eligible for transfer scholarships such as the KY Transfer Scholarship, Alumni Scholarship, and Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarship.

Students are encouraged to visit the Office of Transition Services website to learn more about the transfer process, or email our Transfer Team at transfer@moreheadstate.edu. KCTCS students can schedule a phone/virtual appointment for personalized admission counseling/advising or view our course equivalency guide for quick reference.

We look forward to speaking with you soon and assisting you on your transfer journey!

EAGLE EXPRESS - JOINT ADMISSION PROGRAM

Students are encouraged to join the Eagle Express Joint Admission program which allows them to become active MSU students while enrolled at KCTCS. This allows them to be assigned an MSU advisor to guide them during their KCTCS coursework as well as free transcript submission to MSU at the end of each term. Students will enjoy a free application, priority scholarship consideration, and an MSU student ID to be used for campus resources and events. Interested students are encouraged to opt in to the program during their first year at KCTCS by completing the application at www.moreheadstate.edu/eagleexpress.
