Transfer Partnerships and Guides

University of Cincinnati

The University of Cincinnati (UC) realizes transferring to a new institution is a big step.  UC is committed to minimizing the barriers to transferring and seeks to make our admission process as straightforward as possible. The Transfer Center is here to help with a dedicated team of advisors to help you understand how your credits transfer and apply to UC.

KCTCS and UC have developed specific agreements intended for students at KCTCS to continue their education. The pathways on UC’s Articulation Agreement website outline clear paths between selected associate degrees and compatible bachelor degrees at UC. Simply select the “Indiana & Kentucky Institutions” dropdown to view KCTCS specific pathways in the following majors:

What academic resources are available to students, both on campus and online?

The University of Cincinnati is committed to the success of its transfer students.

Accessibility Resources>>

At UC, we are committed every day to providing full and equal access to students, employees and visitors with disabilities. The University is actively engaged in improving the accessibility of our community, in the classroom, in the workplace, on campus, and online.

Career Education>>

The University of Cincinnati has the oldest and one of the largest cooperative education programs in the world. We invented cooperative education in 1906. Each year more than 7,500 students participate in paid work experiences, and our program ranks in the Top 5 nationwide. But we're more than just co-op.

We're building on that foundation to make paid, supervised, major-related work experience integral to the education of every baccalaureate student. At the same time, we prepare students for the world of work with professional development courses, coaching and career services. For students, this means graduating with a degree, a resume and a plan for your future.

Credit Evaluation>>

The College Credit Services Registrar’s Office Credit Evaluation team evaluates how your credits will transfer to the University of Cincinnati. While Credit Evaluation oversees transfer credit operations, home colleges will determine how accepted credits are applied toward degree requirements.

Enrollment Services>>

Enrollment Services helps you manage the business of being a student at University of Cincinnati. We provide information and answers to your questions related to financial aid, billing, money management, registration and student records.

Learning Commons>>

The Learning Commons provides free centralized academic support for University of Cincinnati students. We are open to all students across all majors and all campuses. As the hub for academic support in and out of the classroom, we bring together hundreds of peer educators, faculty, and best-practices around teaching and learning to create a supportive environment for students to succeed.

Are there any discounts for active military and veterans?

The University of Cincinnati waives all application fees for U.S. active-duty military personnel, and veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces; but does not provide any further discounts. Cincinnati’s Veterans Programs & Services Office, however, is happy to support any student eligible for VA Educational Benefits as they seek to utilize those to cover educational costs related to attending the University of Cincinnati.
