AA to BS, P-12 Learning and Behavior Disorders
Completion of the following curriculum will satisfy the requirements for the Associates in Arts at the Kentucky Community and Technical College System and leads to the Bachelor of Science, P-12 Learning and Behavior Disorders at Campbellsville University
Admission Requirements
To apply as a transfer:
- Complete the CU online application
- Provide official college transcripts for each institution attended reflecting all coursework attempted or earned. Only credits from regionally accredited institutions will be accepted.
- *Students who have earned 23 hours or fewer of college credits after high school graduation must also provide a final high school transcript
- Students must have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Graduation Requirements
- All candidates must complete a minimum of 120 semester hours of academic work with a minimum standing of 2.10 in the area of concentration, or in majors and minors, and a minimum overall average of 2.0. “D” grades are not acceptable in ENG 111 or ENG 112. No “D” grade is accepted on area or major and minor programs unless approved by the division chair.
- Students seeking teacher certification must have an overall 2.75 cumulative grade point average.
- For Education programs a C or better is required in MAC 120 or MAC 140.
- All candidates must have completed all general education requirements.
- All candidates must have completed one major and one minor or an area as specified by the Division or School applicable in each case. In combination, a major and minor must total 51 hours, exclusive of courses in methods.
- All candidates must complete a minimum of 42 semester hours of credit in courses numbered 300 or above, and also, complete a minimum of 25 percent of the requirements for graduation at Campbellsville University. Up to 12 credits of approved 200 level courses may transfer into 300 or above.
- All candidates must submit a Graduation Application on TigerNet.
- At least one-third of the course requirements in the major and in the minor or area of concentration must be completed at Campbellsville University with an average of “C” or better.
- All candidates for a degree must complete the last 30 hours of credit in residence.
- No more than 32 hours of correspondence and/or extension work will be accepted for credit toward the degree. No student may enroll for correspondence or extension while doing resident work without permission of the Registrar. Correspondence work in major or minor field must be approved also by the Chair of the Divisions concerned.
- The student must, in all cases, be responsible for meeting the requirements for graduation.
- All candidates must fulfill Chapel/Convocation Program credit requirements. (Online and regional site Students are Exempt)
General Transfer Requirements
- Online Students-up to $1500
- Regional Sites-$500 Opportunity Scholarship
- Main Campus- $6000-$9000 Transfer Scholarship
Degree Requirements for KCTCS
1) Completion of minimum 60 credit hours, 2) minimum cumulative GPA 2.0, 3) minimum of 15 credit hours earned at the institution awarding the degree, 4) cultural studies course, 5) demonstration of digital literacy, and 6) college success requirement.
