3.4 Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education
3.4.1 System Guidelines
- Technical Standards
- The Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Educator must be able to assume complete responsibility
for working with groups of children in early care and educational settings.
By the specified deadlines, students enrolled in any IECE course must submit or have on file the following:
- per Kentucky Regulation 922 2:090, a statement from a health professional that the individual is free of active tuberculosis or a copy of negative tuberculin results;
- provide evidence of KCTCS liability insurance, if requested; and
- passing security checks proving employability as required by local IECE programs and/or field experience sites.
- The Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Educator must be able to assume complete responsibility
for working with groups of children in early care and educational settings.
