AP exams are a series of standardized tests developed by the College Entrance Exam Board (CEEB) that enable high school students to complete college-level courses and demonstrate college-level achievement. Earning an acceptable score can enable students to receive college credit and possibly be placed in courses beyond the introductory level, shortening the time to completion and saving the student money.
AP exams are offered in high schools by the Educational Testing Service (ETS).
The examination scores are reported as follows:

Any student enrolled at a KCTCS institution shall be granted AP credit according to the following guidelines:
The fee for each AP exam administered in the United States is $80 (subject to change), and any cost for the AP exam will be paid by the student. There is no cost for the credit being awarded at a KCTCS college.
