Beyond the classroom, the Kentucky Community and Technical College System plays a vital role in the economic future of Kentucky. In addition to traditional degrees, certificates and diplomas, we provide a variety of initiatives and services that are helping to develop high-skilled workers for today's fast-paced and globally competitive workplace.

Whether it's providing certification to Kentucky's EMTs and other first responders,training coal workers through the Kentucky Coal Academy, providing adult basic education, and even training jockeys and horsemen in the only fully accredited training program for jockeys and horsemen in the United States, we are proud to make such far-reaching investments in our state and communities.
