FAQ's

  1. Why should I come back to complete my credentials? Finishing changes everything—better opportunities, higher earnings, and the pride of completing your college degree.
  2. Do I need to reapply for admission? Yes, use the regular admission application to reapply to your local KCTCS College. 
  3. I completed courses or education elsewhere while away, do I need to send those transcripts to my KCTCS College? Yes. Please include that information on the Information Request Form so you can discuss it with the Comeback to Complete advisor, Cristy Null. You will also need to send official, final transcripts to the Admissions office at your local KCTCS College. 
  4. I completed training with my employer while away. Can I get college credit for that? Please include that information on the Information Request Form so you can discuss it with the Comeback to Complete advisor, Cristy Null.
  5. Do I need to complete the FAFSA? Yes. For grant or loan eligibility, submit the FAFSA. Be sure to apply for scholarships through your local college. Check out the Four things to consider for Financial Aid.

  7. Where can I get tutoring, help with studying, or time management? Academic Resources Chat with the Comeback to Complete Coordinator, Cristy Null about what you need and she’ll help you build plan for academic success.
  8. How do I get help with food, medicine, or childcare while I'm back in school? Connect with your local Kynect navigator.
  9. I have moved. I am not sure which campus to attend. KCTCS has many campuses and options. Submit the Information Request Form to share your information with the Comeback to Complete Coordinator, Cristy Null, and she will reach out to you with information/next steps.
