Scholarship Table

Most scholarships are based on donor funding and are subject to change. Please note that this is a general list of scholarship criteria. If you received an Award Notification, you must adhere to the criteria listed on the notification.

If you complete a Scholarship Application you will be applying for all available scholarships.

Alliance Bank Scholarship

Criteria:

  1. Clark County resident 
  2. Have a minimum GPA of 2.5
  3. Demonstrate financial need
  4. Current Year Graduate of George Rogers Clark High School 

Estimated award amount: $250

Alumni Scholarship

Criteria:

  1. Enrolled in at least three credit hours at BCTC; 
  2. Have a minimum GPA of 2.5; 
  3. Demonstrate financial need.

Estimated award amount: $500

This scholarship may be used for tuition, books and/or academic support materials.

Central Baptist Hospital Endowed Scholarship

Criteria:

  1. Have at least a 2.7 GPA;
  2. Be admitted to nursing, respiratory care, nuclear medicine or radiography program;
  3. Demonstrate financial need. 

Estimated award amount: $1,500

This scholarship may be used towards tuition and books.

Cierra M. James Memorial Scholarship

Criteria:

  1. Demonstrate financial need;
  2. Completed at least 12 credit hours at BCTC;
  3. Enrolled currently in at least six credit hours at BCTC;
  4. Have at least a 2.0 GPA;
  5. Be a resident of Fayette County;
  6. Intend to pursue a baccalaureate degree

Estimated award amount: $1,000

This scholarship may be applied to tuition, fees and books.

Clark County Farm Bureau Scholarship

Criteria:

  1. Enrolled in at least six credit hours at BCTC;
  2. Member of the Clark County Farm Bureau;
  3. Demonstrate financial need
  4. Be a resident of Clark County
  5. Have a current GPA of 3.0

Estimated award amount: $500

Applicants will be reviewed by Clark County Farm Bureau.  This scholarship may be used for tuition and books.

Clark Regional Medical Center Auxiliary Scholarship

Criteria:

  1. Intends to pursue a medically-related field;
  2. Enrolled at the Winchester-Clark County Campus for his/her first semester.

Estimated award amount: $2,000

This scholarship may be used for tuition, books and/or other academic support materials.

Commonwealth Scholarship

Criteria:

  1. Must be a Kentucky resident
  2. Current year high school graduate in the top quartile of their high school graduating class.

Estimated award amount: $780 - $1,560 per semester.

This scholarship applies to tuition only, up to 12 credit hours. Students must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours.

Dr. Jack B. Jordan Scholarship

Criteria:

  1. Enrolled at BCTC;
  2. Demonstrate financial need
  3. Preferences given to graduates of Bryan Station High School

Estimated Award Amount: $1,500

This scholarship may be used for tuition, fees and books.

Environmental Science Technology Scholarship

Criteria:

  1. Have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 --which must include 6 hours in EST program.
  2. 6 hours in EST for cumulative GPA OR 12 hours in EST to use EST only GPA

Estimated Award Amount: $500

This scholarship may be used for tuition.

Ferzacca Scholarship

Criteria:

  1. Enrolled in at least six credit hours,
  2. Have a minimum GPA of 3.0;
  3. Declared or intended major of fine arts and/or education.
  4. Demonstrate community service to benefit those in poverty;
  5. Demonstrate financial need.

Estimated Award Amount: $2,500

This scholarship may be used for tuition, books, fees and/or academic support materials.

Glitz Scholarship

Criteria:

  1. Enrolled at the Winchester-Clark County Campus;
  2. Have a minimum GPA of 2.0;
  3. Demonstrate financial need.

Estimated Award Amount: $2,000

This scholarship may be applied towards tuition.

Gordan M. Nichols Jr. Scholarship

Criteria:

  1. Enrolled at BCTC; 
  2. Demonstrate financial need.
  3. Preference given to graduates of Bryan Station High School

Criteria:

  1. Enrolled at Danville Campus; 
  2. Demonstrate financial need.

This scholarship may be applied towards tuition.

John T. Smith Scholarship

Criteria:

  1. Must be a Kentucky resident; 
  2. Must have at least a 2.5 GPA; 
  3. Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours.

This scholarship may be used for tuition only.

Estimated Award Amount: $780 - $1,560 per semester.

Criteria:

  1. Enrolled in at least twelve credit hours at BCTC; 
  2. Have at least a 2.7 GPA;

Criteria:

  1. Have at least a 2.0 GPA; 
  2. Be enrolled at the Lawrenceburg Campus; 
  3. Demonstrate financial need. 

Estimated award amount: $500 Fall only

This scholarship may be used towards tuition and books.

Lewis E. Owens Scholarship

Criteria:

  1. Enrolled at BCTC; 
  2. First generation or nontraditional freshman student; 
  3. An interest in community involvement; 
  4. Demonstrate financial need.

Criteria:

  1. Enrolled at BCTC; 
  2. Have at least a 2.5 GPA; 
  3. Must be a first generation college student; 
  4. Demonstrate community involvement.

PNC Bank Endowed Scholarship

Criteria:

  1. Enrolled at BCTC; 
  2. Have at least a 3.0 GPA; 
  3. Demonstrate financial need.

Criteria:

  1. Must be a Kentucky resident; 
  2. Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours.

This scholarship may be used for tuition only, up to 12 credit hours.

Quentin Stacy Memorial Scholarship

Criteria:

  1. Have at least a 2.0 GPA; 
  2. Winchester-Clark County resident

Preference will be given to graduates of George Rogers Clark High School

Ralph G. Anderson Scholarship

Criteria:

  1. Enrolled in at least twelve credit hours at BCTC; 
  2. Have at least a 2.0 GPA.

Ralph Oliver Scholarship

Criteria:

  1. Must be currently enrolled or have completed at least 12 credit hours at Winchester-Clark County Campus; 
  2. Have a minimum 2.0 GPA; 
  3. Be a Clark County resident; 
  4. Demonstrate financial need.

This scholarship may be used toward tuition only, up to 12 credit hours.

Estimated award amount: $780 - $1,560 per semester.

Raymond L. and Mabel Haggard Quisenberry Endowed Scholarship

Criteria:

  1. Must have completed 12 credit hours at BCTC and be currently enrolled at the Winchester-Clark County Campus (DRE, Special Examination, Audit and Pass/Fail courses do not apply.); 
  2. Have a minimum GPA of 3.0; 
  3. Be a Clark County resident; 
  4. Demonstrate outstanding leadership and community involvement.

Stanley Howard McGowan, II Book Fund Scholarship

Criteria:

  1. Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours; 
  2. Have a 2.0 GPA; 
  3. At least a second semester student; 
  4. Must have at least one 100-level course in any semester 
  5. Demonstrates financial need.

This scholarship may be applied to books and/or related academic expenses.

Estimated award amount: $500

Swarna Gopal Rao Memorial Scholarship

Criteria:

  1. Must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours;
  2. Have a minimum GPA of 2.0;
  3. Be a Non-traditional students who is returning (after a five year or more absence) or attending college for the first time.

This scholarship may be used towards tuition, books, fees and/or academic support materials.

Estimated award amount: $300

Criteria:

  1. Must be enrolled at BCTC;
  2. Must demonstrate financial need.

Criteria:

  1. Must be enrolled in a business degree or have a concentration in retail or marketing;
  2. Be a non-traditional student;
  3. Have past, personal, or academic struggles.

Workforce Development Transfer Scholarship

Criteria:

  1. Have a minimum GPA of 2.0;
  2. Be enrolled in STEM, health-related, career pathway, or applied science;
  3. Intends to pursue a 4-year degree upon graduating.
