Marcia L. Roth lives in Louisville, Kentucky and serves as Executive Director of the Mary Byron Foundation – a public grant making charity funding programs to stop domestic violence. A graduate of Northwestern University, she has served on numerous boards at the local, state, and national levels. Ms. Roth has lectured, written, and trained extensively in the field of domestic violence. She is a member of the University of Louisville’s Women’s Studies Community Board, the Domestic Violence Prevention Coordinating Council, the Library Foundation Board, the Council on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, and the Governor’s Task Force on Domestic Violence. Ms. Roth was integral in the concept and implementation of the nation’s first computerized victim notification program (VINE). Her term as regent ends in 2014. |
