Dr. Diane M. Calhoun-French joined the faculty of Jefferson Community College in 1981 teaching English, speech and humanities. In her 23 years at Jefferson, she has enthusiastically served in numerous leadership positions. Her dedication to the College's success is demonstrated not only by the countless hours she works throughout the week, but also through her financial support. Throughout her tenure, Dr. Calhoun-French has financially supported many initiatives including the Seminary Building Renovation, the Partners In Progress Campaign, and her most recent commitment to the Fulfilling the Promise Campaign.
Dr. Ronald Horvath, Louisville Honored by Jefferson Community and Technical College Foundation, Inc.
To accept the award is Dr. Ronald Horvath
Dr. Ronald J. Horvath became president of Jefferson Community College in 1975 and served in this position until his retirement in 1995. Throughout Dr. Horvath's presidency, Jefferson experienced tremendous growth and success and received national recognition for excellence in education. Dr. Horvath's commitment to Jefferson is exemplified through the Dr. and Mrs. Ronald J. Horvath Endowment that he and his wife, Gladys, established to support the faculty and staff at the College.
