Dana Corporation has a strong legacy of financial support to Hopkinsville Community College. In 1995, Dana Corporation made a commitment of $100,000 for the College's Technology Center Equipment Endowment as part of its Partners in Progress Campaign. Funds generated from the Endowment ensure the college maintains state-of-the-art equipment. The local plant has contributed an additional $15,598 in cash and in-kind gifts of equipment to the College since 1993. In addition, representatives from the company have served on the HCC Foundation, Inc. as well as a number of other advisory committees that provide valuable feedback to the College. The return on investment for Dana Corporation's past funding support has been extensive. Dana Corporation and the College form a valuable partnership in providing a skilled workforce for the region.
