Regular full-time employees receive a supplemental vision plan along with their dental coverage with some vendors. This insurance may help supplement the cost of glasses and eye exams. The premium will be paid on a pre- tax basis and will be payroll deducted. For more information contact the carrier. The employee has full discretion of this benefit. Rates established by carrier.
Delta Dental and Dental Care Plus offer provider discounts only.
Vision discounts are available through EYEMED by enrollment in the KEHP health plans administered by Humana. Go to the Humana web-site and sign up for your individualized “MyHumana” site. Once there access the “Savings Center” at the lower left portion of the page and select “EyeMed Discount Program”. KCTCS employees have the Access Discount program. Information on providers and a printable ID card are available.
Supplemental/voluntary carrier AFLAC provides a vision insurance program for purchase at employee expense.

Regular full-time, part-time, half-time, and temporary employees working (.20 >) may participate in the group vision plan. This plan includes local and national optometrists and practices. The premium will be paid on a pre-tax basis and will be payroll deducted. Contact the UK benefits office with questions.
Eligible employees may cover sponsored dependents.
