Ronda stands beside x-rays in her blue smock.
Ronda: Hello my name is Ronda Borland, and I'm a second year radiography student here at Bluegrass Community and Technical College. I chose BCTC because for me, as a non-traditional student, it's been a place of support for someone that has to work as well as go to school. I chose radiography because I like the medical field and I also like the technical aspect. There is an art form to radiography, and that interests me.

Liliana and Miguel sit outside a multi-cultural classroom and talk about their bluegrass experience.
My name is Liliana Gomez and I am student at Bluegrass Community and Technical College, and I am going to transfer to the University of Kentucky. I am studying International Relations. Here at this school I am studying the basic courses so that I can transfer to UK. And here, Erin was one of the people that helped us through the Multicultural Affairs program. She helped put us in the classes that were most appropriate for us, the best level for us. And she helps us find what we need. If we need help we can go to her.
And we have a group of Hispanic students called Enlace (en-la-say) that helps students get involved in school and so that we can build friendships here at school and in the community, get to know more about the school and help out the community as well.
Miguel: Hi, My name is Miguel Moore, and Elena and I are studying and trying to get a good education. So far we are just taking basic stuff just to get through life and everything. She's going to transfer to UK. I'm going to finish out this school year and try to transfer to UK. I'm going to try. Erin is here and she's here to help us we have this little group called Alliance. It helps us get our basic stuff done because we wanted our education in life.
