From her desk in the advising office, Rhonda explains more about the advising process: "Once you've seen Tara out front and have your application for admission, she'll give me a copy of your compass test scores. Don't freak! It's a small version of the ACT and we just use it as a placement test to see where you are in your journey into college life. We'll assign you and academic advisor if you already know your program. You'd see one of the faculty if you are already majoring in Office Systems or Fire Science."

From a busy a Lawrenceburg Computer lab, a teacher speaks: "My name is John Osborne, and were here at the Bluegrass Community and Technical College. The specific branch campus we are at is the Lawrenceburg Campus. Why would a student want to come to Lawrenceburg? Well, I think here are the Lawrenceburg campus we have small class sizes and that makes for individuality. It's not a huge, massive campus. I've seen campuses where you have 60-90 students in an auditorium. As you can see here, we have about 10-15 students, and it just makes the training and individuality one to one."
Rhonda speaks from her office in the Lawrenceburg Admissions Office:"You always tell students that you've made the first, hardest step by coming in the building and getting it behind you, because a lot of people are intimidated by college, but we want you to know we are a family here, we cheer with you when you make a "B" on your math test, and we are going to be there when you're overwhelmed - to help you breath so you can get through.
